I'd have him in for Allan against Arsenal, simplify his game and tell him to just sit in front of the back four and just put out fires. I think Tom is much better when he's not asked to do to much.

I'd much prefer Tommy D to stand in for Allan than Gomes, having said that if Seamus is fit I'd play Holgate in the DM position.

There are matches such as yesterday I'd rather have Davies than Gomes, but honestly Arsenal is awful right now and not all that pacey - I think it's a game that would suit Gomes and would rather him start

I’d prefer Davies if we’re fighting in the midfield and planning to concede possession akin to our last two games and Gomes if we’re trying to control the game.

Our squad is so thin that unfortunately I'm sure that he will get game time over the festive period.

He’s not let us down this season. Had a good game against Brighton when we lost Allan. He also shored us up and was solid against Brighton when he came on as a Substitute. I’ve got more faith in him this and I think he will bu definitely used over the Christmas period.
