It seems harsh after the year he has had but I see there are multiple articles floating about that noodleheads days look numbered and we are looking to move him on in the summer.

I would say there is ZERO chance hes moved on.
An injury hit season will mean we wont get many if any offers, coupled with his smallish wages, HG status, I see no reason at all we would move him on.

Cmon, he's shown the past 3 management teams and the fanbase for the last however many seasons.
Slow on the ball, slow off the ball, poor defending. One bright game every 5-10 doesn't make him a good footballer.

I'm not disagreeing with your point mate overall but we have to keep some players and he is homegrown. the amount of players people want to get rid of we are going to end up with a squad of 0 players at this rate.
I also see that point, but realistically if we stay - we should look to improve.
At best he should be a backup, judging by his ability. If that's the case - yeh, I'd agree, he can stay. Homegrown is such a non-factor in the Prem right now also...
