If you like a CM to play with his back to the opposition goal, pinging any pass he receives straight back to a defender? Then yes.

Pretty sure he managed to avoid making a forward pass for a stretch of about 37 minutes.

When you mostly control a game but your control of the game has nothing to do with the midfield that's pretty worrying. Sadly he should only be a backup player who gets 5ish games a season when injuries and games pile up.

He’s an absolutely dreadful middle of midfielder who offers absolutely nothing. If he’s even plan B then you have issues.

You are an injury away from having Davies starting every week.
