Wasn't at the game - BBC said at half time he'd had a bit of a 'chastening' in the first half. Was that right? Sounds like it come together in the second.

People worried that we are overhyping a young talent.....

We know he still has a long way to go, its just exciting to see such a young prospect (who is one of our own) play as well as he did today. Composed and energetic peformance and not the one you would expect from an 18 year old.

Should get some more games while Idrissa is at Afcon and then will most likely be taken out of the firing line again for his own development.

Set the tone today with gana. Fact he was still flying into tackles at 3 nil up says it all. His driving runs open up the whole game and Ross benefited today from this.
Looking for ward to seen him develop and hope our fan Base will allow him to make mistakes and have off days even if he's still doing a job for the team.

before we signed gana i was hoping this lad would be the one who started in that position. he's had to be patient tho this season, even tho is he young, he defo has the talent to start and play bigger roles in the first 11. with gana now off for a few weeks i hope tom gets his chance to shine properly.

Not at all. Team wasn't great first half, but he is was fine. Lennon was poor and when he was replaced with Valencia we changed to a 4.3.3 system and took control. Davis was good.

That ball slid for Lukarkus goal is what we have been missing all season !
Had a great game never gave up won the ball sithout tooo many fouls being given away unlike Barry and MaCarthy!

A very good 90 mins from an 18 year old still finding his PL feet. I thought that at times both Gueye and Barkley protected him a bit by not passing to him when there was an opponent close by, but that has been one of his strengths at youth/U23s, the ability to skip forward , protect the ball and get out of tight positions. A different level at PL of course but no reason why he shouldn't be showing that more as he develops and other players have confidence in him. He looked much more confident today, moving towards our defenders to receive the ball , covering for Gueye and others as they went forward. Davies, Barry and Gueye are now the three players for the two DMF positions , it will be interesting to see how RK protects him in the coming months , he's got a great engine but you wouldn't want him starting too many games just yet.
