Quite. Didn't get to see the game today, but saw his goal, and that run was what I was expecting to see plenty of last week, so was quite disappointed when he was rather underwhelming, but as was said at the time, if everyone else is static, he cannot a) play incisive passes and b) run into space departed by runners!

I know it's easy to pick on Stones all the time, but the eventual goal scorer RAN INTO HIM, then he runs right at the ball (despite there being other players between Mirallas (?) and the goal), leaving Davies totally and utterly unmarked. Unbelievably poor defending, and shows again that Stones' brain goes to mush in a crisis.
