I thought the same, don't focus on the ball. Watch Roma foot, if you watch that you see the ball spights speed up or move. It's weird but I watched in a mates and we kept replaying the live footage.

shame if they give it to Rom though, had no need to even go for it. Only excuse I can think of is if he wanted to be sure but I don't think there was anyone even close enough to doubt it was going in

Watched it over and over, and to me, Rom gets the very faintest of touches, which doesn't change the angle of the spin, but slows the spin down.
