Nothing like as bad as people make out, at least not going back a few years when he was first choice every week. Also think he was never given the credit he deserved for improving his attacking play which he clearly worked on, there's plenty of evidence on youtube of goals coming from his crosses. I remember the 4-4 at Old Trafford and one of his crosses ending in a goal for Jelavic. Have a feeling he's going to make a boss coach, potentially even a good manager. Viva la shoe

people seem to forget that the last couple of years we've not had to spent £4M-£5M and higher wages that what Hibbo is on for a backup to Coleman. The guy is SAVING us money.

I expect that it's been the long term plan to bring someone like Pennington through to take his place as 1st Coleman reserve, and that this season will be the one where the kid is brought through with Hibbo there as a safety net if needed. At which point will take his place coaching in the academy full time.

@jayw Just asked the missus whose a physio what she thinks and she said it's there to support the knee but doesn't necessarily mean it's a cruciate injury.
