Embarrassing for him to come out after doing nothing for the past two years and slate the club who kept him on the payroll for that long and made him have the bank account he has today.

Now leg it to that fishery in France, the bitter beaut.

I wouldn't even want a a cleaner at Everton treated like that. This issue isn't about football - it's about how you treat people.

That we should have at least told a long serving player what was happening before releasing the info to the public.

Just common sense professional manners that.
Disagree completely.

There is a right way of treating employees and that includes telling them their contract will not be renewed to their face rather than them finding out about it via the club website.
Yeah they could've told him formally that he wasn't being renewed.

I think given the wages they receive his fume is a bit much, but, ultimately I think they should've informed him before announcing the news publicly.

Solidarity with a brother of Huyton and family friend.

Moshiri is a poison that is seeping throughout the veins of this club and needs to be eradicated before any more damage is caused.
Seriously? Isn't this what people like you have been crying out for? No more sentiment? Ruthlessness? Ah but you are right, hasn't played properly for 3 years so let's give him another contract just because he is a nice man

If they've not told him before releasing the info to the public that is really poor from the club. I'd be fuming too.

Tony played how many games in his last 2 years?

And he was supposedly 'shocked' at not being offered an extension as a 35 year old Bosman?

Behave Tony. Alright you should have been told openly and face to face, but given we had no manager at that point, get your head out of your arse ffs

Ignoring everything else, after 25 years service it's a bit [Poor language removed] to find out you're being let go from your job through the media when a phonecall would have done. We'd all be peeved if that happened in our jobs.

But dearest Tony, nothing good can come from what you've done. Except to show how bitter you now are.

This is it.

Where did Sapie mention a new contract?

We expect some decency and humanity from the club but you clearly don't.

Let others make of that what they will.

Did I say that? No.

The way he was treated was piss poor though, utterly shocking from a club that prides itself on being the people's club. To not even tell the man his services were no longer needed is testament to the shady character Moshiri is.

We're no longer a family club, we're a business, we're not fans, we're pound signs.

If you're happy with that and happy to fill the pockets of this utter shyster then fine, don't have a go at us that aren't.
