Unsworth slaughtered by lots of blues and in the media - points return 7 in 4 games (1.75 points per game)
Allardyce - being lauded by a lot of blues and the media - points return 12 in 7 games (1.71 points per game)

Fair enough we got slaughtered by Saints in a terrible worrying performance, but honestly mate the last two games against West Brom and Bournemouth - we have mustered 4 shots on target - and none in the first half of either game.

are next two league games are Man U at home, followed by Spurs away - honest opinion how do you thin Big Fat Sams points return will look after 9 games in charge?

IF we lose the next two games - Allardyce will have 12 in 9 games (1.3 per game) - basically a 50 point season average

I honestly believe the luck bubble burst today, hand on heart you can't argue the fact we should have lost both the derby and to Chelsea and to West Brom, and at most got a draw from the Newcastle game - if luck would have been level we'd have been sat with about 7 out the last 7 games mate, which history shows is Allardyce's level.

Mate that luck bubble you mention has been in operation all season. In league terms, out of all of the games we have won or drawn, how many did we actually deserve?

Did we deserve to beat Bournemouth?
Did we deserve to draw at Brighton?
Did we deserve to beat Watford?
Did we deserve to draw at Crystal Palace?
Hell, even our most emphatic win of the season against West Ham could have been oh so different.

I disagree with your Unsworth vs Allardyce assessment, we look a lot more solid now under Allardyce than we were under Rhino, we conceded far too many goals under him and that's why it was impossible for him to be given the job. I hope, like most Blues, that Allardyce does not make it into a second year as our manager but honestly if he leads a cull against our dressing room in January and starts sending the oldies into retirement and the cowards into oblivion, I will thank him for it.

Quite amazing this.

Neither Koeman or Allardyce, despite being experienced, well paid managers, are ever expected to improve the players they already have, either through training or putting them into a system that plays to their strengths.

The phrase, "polishing a turd" springs to mind. This squad of players had Lukaku to thank majorly for last season, and Barkley to a lesser degree. With them two out of the picture you get the sense of just how awful most of them are/have become.

Doesn't help that there's a widening gap between us and the Big 6 teams. Arsenal, the Mancs, Spurs, Chelsea and Them.

And yes, it is telling how large the Rom-shaped hole in the side is. Man United don't need to depend on him as much cos they've got the likes of Zlatan and Martial. With us...what alternatives did we really have?

Thing is though Eggs, IMO you could take a team of average players and actually get them to play footy, the problem for me in our last 2 games is there isn't any movement in the final third because we actually have everyone behind the ball.

The only player who offers us something different is Niasse, because he will at least try and get in behind defenders, just a shame Allardyce doesn't rate him.
I've thought this for a couple of seasons. We are just too happy to sit in the positions we start off in and never look to move the opponents about. Thought this was the trouble Barkley's had, he picks the ball up and everyone's static.

Apparently we were holding back big Rom Lukaku as well. I honestly don’t think Ross will be much different anywhere else.
