When players do that lap of appreciation nonsense at the end of the season everyone of them should be too ashamed to do it

If we stay up you’ll have half of Goodison clapping Michael Keane et al. Don’t know what’s wrong with our fans sometimes. We’ll protest against managers that haven’t even joined the club yet on the basis of a media rumour, but a group of players who have failed us for five years? Clap clap clap.

If we are safe by the last home game, there should be no one in the stadium, send a signal to this group of charlatans that their time is up.

100% it should be empty, however by then we will properly be desperate for points

This is what annoys me when people keep saying Gordon should be playing. Yeah potentially in the future he could be good but at the moment he still is around championship quality and players like gray should be ahead of him. Gordons numbers simply aren't good enough to keep us up.
Who would you play ahead of him who’s “numbers” are better.

All their numbers are crap, I’d play the lad that gives a go, because their all terrible.

But who is offering more? Dont get me wrong im not saying he has been amazing, but to be our best player you dont need a very high standard
The thing is , on Sunday he seemed to want to run at the defence , but never at them. He always ran sidewards or gravitated to the biggest collection of West ham players in front of him.

Player of the season so far (as sad as that is) but seems to have more belief than ability. Lad can't take the entire defence on dribbling, it means the ball goes nowhere other than delaying an inevitable mistake from us not long after (Kenny handball outside their box for example).

The funniest part of this is if you look at the Gray thread there are people who slate him or think he is an option off the bench, he has been our best player this season.

I would take a point v Burnley
Totally agree...
Been our best player and remains so...
Bit subdued recently but injury , illness and playing in such a poor team can’t help....

A draw at Burnley won’t be end of world but a defeat may well be the start of it..

If we had a better team Gordon would be on bench more..

A couple of months ago people over hyping thinking he was the get out card..

Decision making and end product not there but the kid has improved and he’s up for it in difficult circumstances so credit to him...

Gray is better ( Gordon looks up to him) but they’re both best on left...

A goal from either of these is likely to do them and the team a world of good...

Here’s hoping

Iwobi and gray for sure. I'm not a fan of Gordon tbh. Spends half his time diving and I'd rather see him concentrate that time on scoring goals.

And instead of wasting his time trying to impress fickle fans who think he's wonderful by running around like a headless chicken, he should exert that energy to doing constructive stuff on the pitch like scoring and creating goals.

Iwobi runs around but gets given a hard time and at least iwobi got a winner against Newcastle. Gordon just runs around and hasn't really done anything but everyone loves him. Bandwagon jumpers

Richarlison and DCL need a much better return. Would we still get a huge fee for either with 4 and 3 goals each?
A decent 30-35m for Richie I'd guess in the real world at present....post world cup who knows.

As for DCL he had a short window where he may have fetched good money, he really has to step up a level now to become a true prized asset.

The money man is the young lad Gordon, he'll be targeted by bigger teams than them I am certain.

Gordon's a good prospect but his goals and assistant numbers are pretty poor. I doubt we would get a great fee for him currently.
