No one will ever convince me that we’re not at the centre of some sort of Truman Show type social experiment.

We qualify for the CL? Liverpool win the CL and we almost get booted out to let them in

We get the world’s best referee in our CL qualifier? He screws us over.

we get to our first FA Cup final in 14yrs after one of the toughest cup runs in history… our best player and our defensive lynchpin get injured in the lead up.

We set a record for the fastest FA Cup
Final goal that may never be beaten? Fall apart after and lose the game.

We get a points total that would have qualified for the CL in each of the previous 10yrs? No dice.

We finally get a billionaire after years of poverty? We waste all the money.

We get one of the greatest managers in the history of football after being linked with David Moyes, and sign a genuine world superstar midfielder? West Ham qualify for Europe ahead of us with David Moyes and Jesse Lingard.

No one will EVER convince me otherwise.

Here is an interesting table, as you will see most teams are within 0.5 PPG between home or away form, OURS nearly 1.00 PPG better away than at home. So as you can see whatever is happening at home it is affecting us the worst by far. Absolutely scandalous..... You can say it is down to fans but most teams are fairly level except us.

Just feel so let down by this club yet again, another season of wasted nothingness. Season over! See you all again in 12 months for the EXACT same conversation again........

Only 37% of our points have come at home with 63% coming from away games. Goals scored home and away is fairly level but we have scored more at home than away. Goals conceded, 64% of all our goals were conceded at home, only 36% away.

FWIW the Premier League stats home versus away has swung more to away this season BUT it is still very very level.......

Lack of clean sheets at home is as big a problem as our attacking play at home. We always make a mistake at the wrong time. We have issues at both ends of the pitch. There is nothing wrong with 1 nil home wins - they are the foundation of good seasons for any club.

That's what makes supporting this club fun, It builds character for future heartbreaks.

We don't deserve Europe in our current state.
Sod getting beat 0-3 away at Grasshoppers or something.
Try and sort the squad out first.
Exactly. We couldn't win a game touring the Isle of Weight. The squad isn't good or deep enough for a Premiership season let alone Europe, role on a midtable finish and another summer of hope.

The Everton way.

We finally sign a player from Real Madrid, it’s freaking Roysten Drenthe.

And yet we still love em and always will.

west ham > everton
moyes > ancelotti
antonio > dcl
lingard > richarlison
benrahma > iwobi
coufal > coleman
soucek > gylfi

it begins when they beat us at goodison and moyes broke the voodoo, first win against us after he left :drunk:
