They won the World Cup in 1966 so fourth should not be beyond them this year
However they are a couple of injuries shy of falling off

There is a decent chance that 4th place won’t even get Champions League this year. If City win the CL and one of the English teams still in the Europa wins it then 4th drops to the Europa League.

City would have to finish outside the top 4 for that to happen.
England can have 5 in CL.

If we can beat West Brom then I don’t think any Everton fan when the final whistle went against City would have predicted 9 points from the next three. If we can get the win I think it repairs some of the Newcastle/Fulham damage and puts us back where we would have hoped to be.

Take it a game at a time because we are not good enough to get ahead of ourselves. I'm not sure we are good enough to get 4th, but I will be disappointed if we miss out on europe altogether.
