Really disagree. We aren’t great and have massively ridden our luck I think - but the league has an awful lot of good sides this year.

Arsenal are 10th for goodness sake. Now it’s not a vintage Arsenal side but they are absolutely miles better than the Burnley’s, West Ham’s and Newcastle’s that have finished there recently.
I honestly believe the “luck” factor is primarily down to management. It’s less about random chance and more about a manager pushing the right buttons. We have one of the best. That’s our advantage in the fine margins game. We’re winning games we wouldn’t have before Carlo.

The thing is, we're there, right now.
It's ours to keep or lose.
Have the players got it in them to keep themselves there?

We'll see.

True but the Mane goal and that one tonight really could have gone against us for example.

Also fair. Not the only factor but we’re surely nowhere near top 4 with any of our other recent managers at the helm. They were also the right calls. So wouldn’t necessarily class that as luck as it’s just the system actually working. I’d class our last gasp equalizer against United as more of a luck than a correct offside decision.

True, it's probably a bit of both: there are far fewer really good sides but loads of okay ones.

I think we need to be aiming for 15-20 points from the 12 games left. We do that and we most likely get into Europe and it may even get us Top 4 if they all keep dropping points around us.

This season has been crazy for that and you have to factor in that the teams that are still in the CL but have no chance of winning the league, they may subconsciously switch their attention.

Defensively we are without doubt one of the top sides in the league and that’s why we are where we are. That plus being very clinical with chances.

After Chelsea we need to be beating the next 3 and ensuring we at least dont lose the Spurs, Arsenal, Villa and West Ham games as they are in and around us

Chelsea A
Burnley H
Palace H
Brighton A
Spurs H
Arsenal A
Villa H
West Ham A
Sheff U H
Wolves H
Man City A

Think Leicester are the ones to aim for. Chelsea look strong but sure to have a blip under tuchel at some point.
I mean pretty bonkers but if we win Monday which isn’t beyond the realms of possibility and utd lose to city then we’d be 2 points behind them with a game in hand. Mad season!

This is Carlo's first full season rebuilding the team so the fact we can even dream about top 4 at this point in the season is phenomenal.
The chances of actually getting top 4 is slim but if we can keep our excellent away form and improve at home then at the very least we can get Europa league and finish above last year's champions.
