Top 4 ?

This is the Champions' thread younger brother isn't it.

Top 4 is one hundred percent realistic. We have a kind run in. Some of our best players are just coming back to fitness. A lot of the typical teams that we would be challenging alongside are in transition (as are we tbf).

What will work in our favour is that no-one outside of Everton are taking our top 4 chances seriously. Pundits, commentators, the footy media machine all like a chuckle when it's raised. Everton top 4? Gi'oer.

I think we will be underestimated as a result. We're really competitive, we fight until the last kick, and we have a Manager who has seen it all and will keep a calm head

....most times in recent years when Burnley played Leicester i’d be wanting Leicester to win. Not tonight. It’s always a good benchmark when we want teams around the top to lose.

Id rather us get into the champions league than win the cup. Long term it would be better but i do realise silverware is long overdue

I’ll take either. Think Top 4 is somehow the more realistic one for us at this point though, given we have City next round in the cup. Beat West Brom and Chelsea and it’s on.
