Top 5 to leave?

Make a list of the biggest wages (FFP and all that)
Make a list of those that somebody might actually buy and aren't injured.

And your 5 will come down to 2 maybe 3

Bernard
Siggi

Bolasie

Job done.
Edit; forgot Walcott but wages and sale-ability will decide

There are 3 categories for our out of favour players
Sandro, Besic and Bolasie should be the first to go. They will not feature in any squad this season. Total drain on the clubs finances.
Delph, Siguardisson and Walcott. Best days are behind them. Injury prone and ideally they could be replaced with younger players that Carlo wants.
Lastly are the younger group of players Kean, Iwobi and Davies who are I don’t think are up to the required standard and could net us significant money if they were sold.

This is like a clickbate thread title I thought the new European superleague had pushed on. :)

Pretty much agree with everyone else... Delph, Sandro, Bolasie, Tosun as we are just never going to play them again. Then if we got an offer for Gylfi (or Walcott I suppose) then we have to take it due to wages but they could stay and Iwobi could go and that would still be just as good.

Davies needs to go on loan.

I'd like Delph and Davies to leave, though I don't see Davies going anywhere.

Davies' career isn't going anywhere here now really, and he might be rejuvenated by playing in one of the newly promoted sides for example and generate some cash.

Bernard would be another who might interest continental clubs. I'd be sorry to see him go as he seems to care and genuinely tries hard but just not suited to the PL.

Walcott I would also let go but would be ok to have him as a squad player. He is for me one of the less objectionable of those group of average players we have, though not on Wednesdays outing.

I don't see Sigurdsson leaving. I thought he was a disgrace last season but he does have goals in him and Ancelotti might be able to manage him from the bench, so that he becomes more of an impact player and might get a few important goals in tight games. We can't sell everyone.
