Too many that I don't like amongst the Roses and Quality Street tins:

Roses - not keen on the coffee escape, strawberry dream, golden barrel, signature truffle, tangy orange.

Quality Street - not a huge lover of the orange creme, strawberry delight, toffee penny or the toffee finger.

Celebrations however, kin love them all, and, given that I love bountry and most people don't, I always get a good number of those to myself. Not a weak chocolate between any of those in the tin below, plus none of them are deadly sickly sweet like many of the QS or Roses ones.

I've actually never bought or paid any attention to the Heroes tin, but it looks brilliant tbh, right up there with the Celebrations one. Again, not really a weak choccie there at all, although I'd argue you could go away with the Eclair and Dairy Milk ones, maybe.

If I were able to put my dream tin together from all of my favourites, I'd go for these 10: Mint Choc Block (QS), Orange Chocolate Crunch (QS), Malteaser, Bounty, Snickers, Milky Way (Celebrations), Wispa, Caramel, Twirl, Fudge (Heroes).

What a boss review of tins and boxes of chocolate this is.

They're all awful.

And smaller for more money.

So my main objection is fiscally based however why buy a tin of a load of horrible ones when you can just buy a mutipack of snickers?

I always go with the Ferrero rocher box, the ambassador demands it.
They do still represent superb value for money though. And you're generally buying them for the family, so need to cater to different needs. As an example, Morrisons are currently selling 2 tins of the above selection (can mix and match) for £6. That's over 1kg (1.3kg if you get 2 Celebrations) of chocolate for £6 - effectively 216g of festive chocolate per measly pound of sterling. Even buying cheap crap chocolate is almost more expensive than that.
