According to FM our top ten best potential players are: (Not Including Rodwell or Coleman)

1. Magaye Gueye
2. Ross Barkley
3. Johan Hammar
4. Hallam Hope
5. Apostolos Vellios
6. Shane Duffy
7. Shkodran Mustafi
8. Luke Garbutt
9. Femi Orenuga
10. Joao Silva

He (Adam Thomas)had an injury earlier in the season and has not been able to nail a start. He played 120 mins at Marine on Tuesday and had a good second half. The lad has good pace and stamina and never showed any signs of tiredness towards the end of the game, like Dustin Hoffman in the film "Marathon man" just keeps on running
Adam Thomas is one I haven't heard anything about JD sorry. As for Forshaw I recall him running down the right wing and putting a couple of crosses in with his right boot. Read elsewhere he is quite competent in the Cahill role, so he might as well join the queue for that spot.

So take it he's not a scholar of Vics masterclass then? 'Cream Crackered in 60 minutes & Other Lazy Tales'

I didn't really think this was worthy of his own thread (though if you do, others can post it) but it seems we've signed a young goalkeeper from Shrewsbury called Mason Springthorpe. He's very, very highly rated and has been keeping out 2 older players from the u18s this season (while he is still at school) and as well as being on the bench a few times. Spoken about in the same breath as Joe Hart (who also came from Shrewsbury).

Oh geez, our record with bright young keepers is horrid. The list appears endless. Gerrard, Simonson, Wright, Ruddy, Turner....

All were supposed to be the dogs nuts when we signed them, the first three were said to be England keepers in the making. Seems to be an English thing as with the exception of Joe Hart all of the top young keepers have flattered to deceive recently. Robinson, Kirkland, Foster, Carson etc. All heavily hyped, all now playing for mid table teams.

Really hope this lad does a bit better but it's strange how so many good junior keepers fall by the wayside.

Yeah, he is only 15/16.

havnt heard about him, were does he play

There you go mate from the OS:

Talented right-back Tyias is known for his quick pace and physical strength.

Born in Liverpool, Tyias joined Everton in 2004 and has since gone on to record some impressive achievements during his time at the Club.

He made a handful of appearances for Everton's Under-18s during the 2009/10 season, and was also a part of the Blues' 2010 FA Youth Cup squad.

Tyias has also been selected as a part of the new crop of England Under-17 internationals for the annual Nordic Tournament in August, alongside Everton Academy team mate John Lundstram.

He is also eligible to represent China at international level.

* he has played for the reserves this season and apparently Alan Stubbs think he has a big future, pacey, strong right back yes please!

heard a few going on about this kid he is supposed to be top draw, but as you say we dont have a good record in this position, i have seen a couple of the lads in the younger age groups, that we have had on deals and to be honest there is better out there. The kid this lad is supposed to be taking over from is a very good keeper and a nice lad, so im hopefull, if he is better than him we have got a very good player

Who is this Johan Hammar kid? never heard of him until today, and third on the list of highest potential? Must have something about him.

Young Swedish Centre back and Defensive Midfielder, he's 6foot4.

We signed him from Malmo, he's supposed to be a similar sort of player to Distin.

Big lad then, hope he comes good we could have a top top team in 3-5 years.

Also, noticed your from Jersey. Was born there, St Brelade and lived there till I was 9.

Seen him play a few times, very strong in the air, looks a good prospect. We'll end up selling him and any other decent player once they make it because that's what Everton do isn't it?
