An almost impossible ask, because it changes daily, but here and now, and in no particular order, based on my weekend listening, these are the albums I have been listening to…

• Paul’s Boutique - Beastie Boys
• Appetite For Destruction - Guns N’ Roses
• O - Damien Rice
• Rooty - Basement Jaxx
• Come Find Yourself - Fun Lovin’ Criminals
• Definitely Maybe - Oasis
• Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space - Spiritualized
• Pills ‘N’ Thrills And Bellyaches - Happy Mondays
• Extreme Witchcraft - Eels
• Folkocracy - Rufus Wainwright
Pills n Thrills yeah

My favourite albums aren't neccessarily what I listen to regularly, but they often represent a defining point or change in what I predominantly listened to at the time. That sounds rather pretentious, admittedly.

John Talabot - Fin
Mount Kimbie - Crooks & Lovers
Bonobo - Dial 'M' for Monkey
Burial - Untrue
Bop - Clear Your Mind
Foals - Total Life Forever
The Cribs - Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever
The Libertines - Up The Bracket
A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders
Big L - Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous
Those last two = classic rap albums. ATCQ released three literally flawless albums in a row.

I don't think i even did a list actually. Off the top of my head

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Burial - Untrue
Jimmy Eat World - Clarity
Stereolab - Dots and Loops
Arthur Russell - Another Thought (if this counts as an album)
Unwound - Leaves Turn Inside You
Moodymann - Black Mahogani
Velvet Underground & Nico - The Velvet Underground & Nico
Swans - The Seer
Grouper - Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill

and look, i missed Tricky - Maxinquaye

Pearl Jam - Ten
Vitalogy their best for me, by far.

Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss
Enjoy a lot of Slayer! Divine Intervention their greatest, I reckon. Makes it my favourite metal album. But just outside top 10 overall.

The Fragile, by Yes.
Relayer.

Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible
Powerful stuff, they never got close to this in their earlier or post-Richey works.

The Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole
Oh yes! Another one where their finest album is so far in front of their other stuff. It Doesn't Matter on a big soundsystem is outrageous!

Sigur Rós - Ágætis Byrjun
Takk, for me.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
The Wall.

The Prodigy - Music For The Jilted Generation
Arguably the greatest EDM album of the 90's (strong competition too!).

Will Liam Howlett ever go back to crunchy sci-fi electronica like Break & Enter/Speedway/the Beat the Energy/Narcotic Suite?

Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Yes, EPIC album. Far superior than any other MA work. Tho' in terms of trip-hop putting this up against Portishead's second or Third albums, or Tricky's Nearly God...it's a close-call.

Soundgarden - Superunknown
That one is loaded with underrated tracks. I'm a Badmotorfinger guy, but that one is also stacked.

Ultramegaok is my favourite album of theirs, flows the best and is dark as fook.

Louder Than Love with arguably their best song: Gun.

Floyd - The Final Cut.
Props. Love this album. Love singing along to it.

Sonic Youth - Goo
Great band with really strong discography. I'd go Sister, myself.

Steve Reich - Music For 18 Musicians
Agreed! Superlative dreamy addiction.

Drumming from him is almost as moreish.

Unpopular opinion - amazed how many have "Fat of the Land" on their lists. I was well disappointed with it when it came out. For me, it was where The Prodigy began to lapse into self parody, and I think the first two of their LPs are both miles better.

"Jilted Generation" is the one.
Agreed! Experience has dated too much, tho' Weather Experience is still mighty.

Adam and the Ants - Kings of the wild Frontier
Props! The title track, Ants Invasion, Killer in the Home and the Human Beings are so bloody good.

Tho' Prince Charming LP just about wins as it's all killer, no filler.

Pink Floyd - The Wall
Agreed! Number 1 undisputed champion. Confirmed by a recent Żubrówka-fuelled vinyl listen. Actual tears

My 10:

Pink Floyd - The Wall
Magma - Ëmëhntëhtt-Ré
Psykovsky - Tanetsveta
Arvo Pärt - Tabula Rasa
Einstürzende Neubauten - Halber Mensch
Steve Reich - Music for 18 Musicians
Sonic Youth - Sister
Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
Harmonia - Musik von Harmonia
Iva Bittová & Dunaj - (self-titled 1989 release)

The first couple of songs on Vs. are god-tier, but then it drops off.

Loved Divine Intervention when it came out, but Seasons is still their best.
