Apparently it goes out loads of times on its travels they relight it with an Olympus lighter. Any one ever seen it go back to the start when it has gone out

it's called a free democracy bruce, free tibet protesters are jumped upon all over the world as countries kiss chinas backside and it's to this countries credit that they were allowed to protest, i object more to the chinese security that was allowed to surround the flame and i wish paula raddcliffe had dumped it in the thames when crossing the bridge. i predict that the french will snuff the bugger, not a big fan of the froggies but if anyone knows how to kick up a stink its the garlic munchers.

I'm not debating their right to do it, I'm just questioning quite what they hoped to achieve. I suspect much of it was to satisfy their own ego.

when i flew to n.z. with cathay pacific the cabin crew were made up of groups of different nationalities, i.e. different galleys had different crews and mine was staffed by nepalese, no ghurkas or sherpas there i can tell you they were absolutely stunning, and most are in the mile high club before they've even seen a plane.
