How do you know he lifts his shirt except to take it off. Speaking from experience are we Sharpy. Well one learns something every day.:lol:

Should come and join a decent club with great fans.(y)

Liverpool Daily Post.co.uk - Liverpool FC - Liverpool FC rocked by injuries to Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard and Yossi Benayoun

He's wasted no time picking up the arrogance and delusions of grandeur it has to be said:

"Meanwhile, Torres has claimed that Liverpool must now win the Europa League to save the season..."We didn’t want to win the Europa League at the start of the season but it’s a reality now," said Torres. "Now we have to win it. Anything less than winning the tournament would be terrible. If we do not win it then we have to say it’s been a very, very, very bad season in Europe."

PMSL at someone from that rabble of a team declaring themselves obvious winners of the Europa League. Has Bruno seen some of the teams left in that tournament or is he high on all the meds he's been getting?

He is probably just lining his excuses up before handing in a transfer request.

Just removing Blue tinted specs for the purpose of an even handed view on Torres..

He's a tremendous footballer who can turn defenders inside-out - a great shot and has wonderful spatial awareness.

On the downside however he has really struggled with injuries - inflicted by gruesome defenders - maybe he does go down easily but who can blame him with the treatment that is meted out to him.

And, as far as this season goes.. he's been rushed back to rescue their season instead of getting the recovery time he needs so any chance of seeing the best of him this season is remote.

I'd be delighted if he wasn't playing for The RS too! :)

What a frigging player.

Speaking of the Europa league, anyone hear Whelan's interview on BBC where he called the Europa League a tournament for 'losers, who can't win anything else'?

Sounds pretty apt at the moment.

Cracking striker unplayable on his day but injury prone, at a club where the board are split leading to stories of unrest in the press, manager under pressure, club in debt, no funds for transfers, ideas of moving stadia. No not Duncan Ferguson 10 years ago, but Torres today.
