Yep.

I have to say though, it's a bit arlarse having him play against the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham but not starting against the likes of Wigan, Stoke, Swansea, Norwich, Reading, etc. etc.

This precisely and that's why I'll always believe that Moyes has no clue tactically rather he hopes that his team turns up and does a good job. Now Barkley's confidence will be shattered and Moyes can easily say that he's not ready for another 5 years.

Honestly I'd like to see Osman subbed off for Oviedo and either Barkley or Mirallas taking his place. He's slowing our attacks down and he isn't playing the right balls.

Not sure about that

Osman has been involved in most of our forward play. Earlier (when he should have passed it to Mirallas and instead played it left to Baines), Baines passed the ball to Barkley who, instead of controlling the ball and playing it further down the wing for Baines, decided it would be more impressive to control the ball 2 yards away from his body, and then try to take on the three Spurs players around him

That's the main issue for me. He needs to get the easy, simple stuff done first. Instead (because of the way Moyes limits his chances or something else), he's trying to do "something special" every time he gets the ball.

In short, I think he has trouble playing under pressure or expectation.

Blimey you would think we were losing 4-0 some of the negativity on here. Its been a dogged performance against a good team away from home. Midfield haven't had time on the ball and are struggling a bit and the defence is playing long. Overall not bad so far.

Ross looked alright when on the right but done nothing on the left, so obviosuly thats where he's played most of the game.

Osman has been poor, with the amount of grass in front of him when Spurs attcks breaks down we'd be better off with Mirallas playing in the hole.

Stick Barkley right, Osman left and Miralls central, not much option on the bench really unless Vic goes right and Jelavic comes on.

definitely need to raise our game, that was all a bit meh for me, stopped playing once we equalized. We need to take the game to them, we're the ones to win. I'd encourage this way of playing if they were at full strength with their pace, but they haven't got any of that threat today. allowing them way too much space in the centre of midfield, and how you can let the opposition score after 35 secs when you have the kick off i will never know.

osman has been utterly terrible, wouldn't mind seeing oviedo coming on for him to go on the wing and push mirallas forward, we need more pace on the pitch, it's all a bit too slow atm. But with the probably sub of vic, i doubt we'd make 2 subs at HT.

Barkley stunk the joint out.

Anyway who keeps saying the lad is ready is the PL is talking out of their arse.

He looks like he wants more time on the ball than he's going to get in this game, but he will adjust. I'd much rather see him playing than Naismith.

Alot of players have been below par today

Barkley
Victor
Osman
Baines
Coleman

We need at least 3 of those to step up in the second half, if not then spurs will win.
