....says lots when you’re chasing a goal and your teenage substitute is taking key free kicks and providing almost all the only energy in the team.

What do you think happened in the dressing room after the game?

Also do you think if we played 2 of our best midfield tacklers from the 23s and told them to win the ball and play it simple we would have a different result?

In all honesty that's how we've played in every match since we came back, that shape with these players isn't going to work

Would you not say the shape has worked well in the other matches post lockdown tho?

Even yesterday, don't think it was the defensive shape that undid us, we were just incapable of breaking them down when they sat off

When was the last time this MOTM poll showed an even spread of votes throughout the team? It's always one ore 2 players which shows how poor we are as a team.

But we beat Leicester and drew with Liverpool with that shape. We could have got a draw yesterday. We were rotten, but I’ll chalk it down and move on.
I’m not really that surprised at losing away to Spurs, but I think I am more disappointed because we have a chance of Europe.
Truth be told, the squad needs work.
when I reflect back on the season, losing Gomez and Gbamin to serious injury has been completely disastrous.

At home with a chance of Europe all but gone?

Time for this coward squad to pick up some results in their little comfort bubble of mid table.

Ben Davies yeah?

Yeh considering his job today part CDM Davies caused more problems for Spurs than Gilfy Iwobi and Gomes put together. Had Gordon come up with the equaliser or assist then yes.

Two up front and and wide players were non entity's last night.

Most notable momen,t Pickford long punt for Bernard near the end, it was different...

There was nothing wrong with the shape for me. We didn't tackle or pass the ball forward. We didn't play with any urgency or aggression. Don't see how a different shape would have changed how we played last night.

Yeh pedestrian and whatever other cliche we can use. How many crosses from open play into the opposition box, how many times did the wingers cut in to be 3rd 4th attacker...

Sig has been checked out since the season began. Gomes gets a pass from me. Horror injury and no legs next to him which we know he needs. Iwobi has shown flashes but that’s not enough. Same goes for Bernard. Not sure how Davies didn’t make your list but he should be loaned out or shifted next season as well. We’re so far away...
Let’s face it, we’ve known this for a few seasons now. What’s more concerning is that we were laughing at the wheels falling off at the Arse and MU and saying ‘we can deffo overtake them’, but both have clearly got things together now with some proper signings and look way ahead of us atm.

Completely deflating. I can take defeat if you have given it a real go but it is genuinely painful to watch how timid and gutless we are when there is the slightest adversity or when we have the chance to kick on and get a decent result.

A penny for Carlo’s thoughts on the bus home. Do him and Brands have regular meetings I wonder? If so, he should be demanding to know how so much money can have been spent on so many bang average footballers.
