This team is pathetic... Everton is forever going to be in the shadows of our more illustrious neighbours.

No matter what this club does, no matter, we just end up ?
Wasnt great today have we improved yes, i am sure the club will look to bring attackers in january to give us more options to change the game. Had two great chances that we should have taken and a mistake from pickford. I am alot happier with the squad than last season we just have to bqck the team and manager

That almost fell nicely for Dom. This game we've had our chances and we have compact. Can't say it was a great game for us but away from home to Spurs a point would have been a great result. No complaints about Lampard or the changes but can't help but proper regret the two misses in the first half.
Far more disappointed with last week's performance than this - ultimately a mistake has been the difference tonight, last week we just didn't turn up.

Against better sides. Lost to United, Chelsea, Spurs all of who we're not on par with, edged out by penalties and mistakes.

Yet some say we're going down and will want Lampard out. To say that high quality bed wetting isn't edgy...it's a fact.

Spurs is fair game, however, let's not act like United and Chelsea were anything special. Both have lost to sides below us this season.

Different game if we put in one of the two first half chances which says just about everything about us at the moment.
Not the first time this season that we lack composure in front of goal. Needs improvement ASAP because we don't exactly create loads of opportunities.

Are you for real?

We will be absolutely fine this season and anyone who thinks otherwise watching games like this just want to be negative.

The goals we have given away here have both had an element of luck and we are only just starting to get attacking options.

We will be anywhere from 8-14th because there is nothing to separate those teams this year
We're on pace for 30 goals and playing with fire as a consequence. There are definitely worse teams, but we need to pick up the scoring pace a bit in case those sides kick on. We need to start grinding out the 1-0 and 2-1 wins against the bottom half with more regularity.

It was always going to be a season of scrapping. We don’t suddenly go from a culture of giving up that’s been ingrained for years to suddenly playing well every single game.

Ultimately though our own sloppiness and errors have resulted in the losses to United and Spurs. We had the chance to win both games but the players weren’t decisive enough to do it.
