Final ball very frustrating for me, but he does look a bit more direct / incisive.
Nailed on to try a shot regardless of better options

It's frustrating, and he's not great either, but I'd take a forward confident enough to take it on than one who is slow and runs into blind alleys. At least when Danjuma loses it, he's had a shot at goal.

Selfish, the keeper made one great save and he’s hit the bar. I’d rather that than McNeil and Harrison miss controlling the ball and then kicking it straight at a defender. When in a good position

More of a threat in 20mins than McNeil or Harrison have been all season. He’d be be on more than 2 goals if he’d had the minutes then 2 have had

And I imagine if he was starting every week and full of confidence his finishing and decision making would be sharper

We played some very good football today so I'm not disheartened, just disappointed with the result.

Gave my MotM to André Gomes (the handsome bugger) as I thought he had a very good game, took control, and showed himself to be the "calm" our midfield needed.

One was a great save, one he could've squared but there was no obvious angle for the pass and the last one was in were in not for the keeper's thigh being 3mm further back.

A million times more effective than Harrison in my opinion.

They both provide different things but I do think Harrison is a bit leggy. Danjuma is certainly better than Gray. He came on and should have scored forced a fantastic save. He’s a different type of player and hopefully he will get more minutes as we need everyone firing.

Gomes...............when he came on we though Oh No! Boy was I surprised. He played very well despite the time out. Early doors but he could turn out as our secret weapon

I voted him MOTM like most, but we've seen these false dawns before with Gomes.

Danjuma is infuriating, but he gets into more dangerous positions than Harrison. I wouldn’t bin him just yet, his luck has to change soon.

He is very hungry for goal since day one, and a bit too hungry perhaps at times which borders on selfish

Gomes with his best game in an Everton shirt, if his fitness has held up he should be involved more.
He's probably our best passer of the ball and most comfortable in possession
