Lampard’s treatment of Patterson has been shocking. The boy clearly has talent, is a starter for his country and getting rave reviews, gets an opportunity at under 23’s and is best player on the pitch, and when he finally gets a chance in the first team, he gets hooked at half time despite doing absolutely nothing wrong and actually looking bright.

Then gets dropped from the entire squad for the next league game? Yeah, he’s already done here under this manager it’s obvious already.
