Arteta played great and AJ ran around all the time to keep their defence busy, especially in the second half.

Yobo and Stubbs played solid in the defence, likewise Hibbert and Lescott played well.

Fantastic performace. Both half we played well. The 3 goals in the first, and the sponge that was our second half as we soaked up all of thier pressure.

stubbs defo was very good cuz all there stikers went to him as the weak link but he was class.

and surprisingly no mention of osman for MoTM I too thought he had a great game, arteta too.

its 6am, I'm knackered but I'm very very VERY happy, bring on reading!

nn blues!

Osman did well no doubt. Best man for us is arteta again, how many times have we say it before. 2 assist, enough said.

But I can't find faults with anyone in our team tonight.. this was a fighting victory in the second half.. everyone gave it their all and went in 100% in each situation to save this result.

unbelievable win

so we're 2-0 without Cahill and Vaughan?... and it looks like Manny might be coming home?

aaaaaaaaaaaah.... good stuff

bring on Reading!

My MoM was Arteta. 2 assists, constantly made dangerous crosses and kept the ball when he got it so we could lift our positions.

Only negative is that his side suffers a bit in defence since he sometimes lingers to be available on the counter. Osman and Arteta switched sides in the second half and I think that was the factor that made Tottenham attack on the right side in the second half.

on Sky Sports they've given the man of the match award to Osman and I'd agree he didn't stop running all match and when he was pushed off the ball he got back up and started hacking away again.

Easily man of the match today, even with Arteta in the team.

:pint: :pint: :pint: For the best part of that game we played with last years team, no multi million pound players, just good old hard graft and no small degree of skill. Ossie played his best game for us in years, has competition started bring the best out of him:D . Although the Spurs midfielders and defenders dished it out to him he kept coming back for more, was a pain to them all night, well done Ossie my MOM(y) :pint: :pint: :pint:

we did very well tonight weatherd there storm in the first half. and then again in the first 20mins of the second.

each player played there part and each player made a mistake but a great result. and for me it was between stubbs/osman and i will give it to ossie just for his finish what a first touch class.

Not a bad player out there tonight.
A great result, we look really solid all over the park. The commentator was spot on when he said 'they look a more mature side', and his offsider kept saying 'well the they are one of the best sides in the league'.

Back four were tops, Spurs throwing all four strikers on and they hardly registered a shot. Howard was huge, Cars ans Nevs sitting in niceley, Ossie ran his nana off, and deserved another notch.

I loved when Stubbs scored, Cars running over and saying 'I told you to do that!!'

Arteta was arteta, silky and composed, but I thought he had a litle more chance to run and shoot tonight, but he didnt. No fault of the great mans.

Johnson and Anichebe still dont work, but five goals in 2 games (with only cheebs scoring) is still hard to argue for a change. Slot Vaughn in there and freshen Ossie with a Cahill or Fernandes and Kapatow. You can sine your pity on the runny kine, because were top of the league!

Good to see Jags too. Looks a blue if I ever saw one.

Brilliant win, i was hopeful but i just thought we're gonna get bum raped.

We didnt and it was a fantastic performance.
