It's just the logo, the colour is dead nice and I like the logo because I know it's CDG. Just one of them. My second pair after throwing out an old black pair that got utterly wrecked a while back. Usually go for Vans if I want a canvas shoe. May pick up the off white ones Vans one day though.

Thats JD getting them made under license for you, the soles are made of some kind of polystyrene like pram wheels are made of. Adidas should stipulate when they grant the license that they have to be of the same quality but it appears that they only have to be the same style, and for the price they charge at JD and others in their group its a proper RIP, those Gold 'Exclusive To' tags are the giveaway for stuff they've bought the license for.
JD, Size, Scotts, Blacks , Millets & get the label are all part of the group

Took me six months of proper hunting to get myself a pair of vintage minters - £85.

Mad thing is that I haven't got the heart to ruin them by actually wearing them, so they've gone in the cupboard with a pair of Diadora Bjorn Borg Elite Gold originals that I won't wear either !
