Adidas Jeans are just the same.

Go out in the rain with them and your feet end up dyed blue lol
Struggle to find decent dark leather trabs though, and the re issues just seem really narrow, plus as I said earlier i find the insoles not very comfy in new Adidas, the arch bit never seems placed right

Slight change of track from trabs,I was talking to a couple of old scalls from London the other day and got talking about clobber, they insisted they were best dressed,I argued that they looked like Del boy rejects with all the bright Pringle jumpers and Fila trackies plus wearing deer stalkers they looked like bellends, they swore blind that Scousers wore the same clothes, now I remember a few Fila tops but in dark colours, dont remember any yellow and pink diamond Pringle,Burberry or Aquastium check and defo no daft hats

They’re correct.

Lads from Liverpool did wear that gear.

Not sure about the pastel colours, but I remember all the rest.

A lad I used to work with in the mid eighties wore all that clobber and even had a haircut like Fish from Marrilion, as they were the in thing for a bit too - Stoner Scalls !!

I dont remember scalls running round in pillar box red trackies with roll necks underneath,or the deer stalkers, when Scalls started it was decent trabs,Lois jeans, cagoules,Peter Storm or Adidas, desert boots, crew neck jumpers, leather box jackets that sort of thing, the only Fila I remember being worn regular was the BJ one,a few Kappa bubble coats, certainly no Burberry macs and Farah keks

Not the trackies, but pretty much everything else.

I wore Farah keks myself, with a Ben Sherman shirt and a crew neck Lyle and Scott, with suede brogues

The older lads wore the Burberry macs as they were so expensive and they were the only ones who could afford them.

There was also a slight difference in styles between North and South Liverpool - South Liverpool wore them pastel gear for some reason.
