the dilema though is...

• splash out on an original pair
• get the remakes

i would say, beware the recent re-issues.
i was looking at a pair of zx marathon

and the soles were nothing like the originals, really crappy foam and even the actual rubber sole was like some foam material like on pram wheels, that wouldnt last 5 mins, whereas the original ones have a heavy duty type sole that is good for winter.

i wouldnt mind some of these as well

got a pair of toddler ones, that all 3 kids have had but are still in mint condition, might hang them off my rear view mirror.

there's a shop called barolas on ebay, the guy is in greece but a mate ordered a pair at 4pm and they arrived the next morning, and way cheaper too.

as you may have noticed, Adidas is king.
