Yeah just let them wear our pitch away so theirs can be in good condition for their first game which is a week after ours.

Hope they're paying us well but I doubt it, was probably a condition of them sending a few first teamers down to our game which apparently is the likes of Distin and Hibbert.

Even worse, although TRFC are clearly not in competition with Everton on the pitch, they do have to compete for the hearts and minds of Wirral residents, so why the **** would we allow them to showcase themselves over here?

I'm not entirely sure they do tbh... Though in fairness I haven't been regularly since Friday night football at Prenton Park got given the boot by the Football League in the mid 90's.

Joke of a decision that. Used to get loads of Everton and Liverpool fans going to those games, then going to the First Division/Premier League games on the Saturday.
