I always struggle to advocate letting something go that we know we are getting, in order to replace with something that we may get. However, in this case, the quality of the 2 players that could be replacing him in that scenario above, only one would have to realise their full potential for it to be a very good move. IMO.
 
I signed him on my FM2012 game. Started off slow, but has been doing alright recently. 4 star potential.

You know, cos this is relevant.
