'Former Manchester United left back Alexander Buttner is emerging as a target for Everton as they ponder a replacement for injured Leighton Baines. Roberto Martinez is considering signing a left back on loan as cover for Baines, who injured an ankle last week. It is unclear exactly how long the England star will be out for and the Toffees are set to enter the market for a new full back. And Buttner, now at Dinamo Moscow, is understood to be on Martinez's list of targets.

Youngster Brendan Galloway filled in for Baines for last weekend's Premier League opener against Watford, while Bryan Oviedo is fit after injury.
But Luke Garbutt has been sent on loan to Fulham which has left Martinez considering a move. Buttner joined United from Vitesse Arnhem in 2012 but made only 13 Premier League appearances in two seasons before leaving last year.'

at that price its a no brainer .... perfect for us imo , right age ,right price , right position , minimum risk and would keep mirallas and lukaku happy .

so next on my list ... over to the dutch league ziyech maher or klassen (none are going to happen)

I don't know why this has only just clicked, but it certainly adds a wrinkle to the search for a creative midfielder.

The mystery player will not only be brought to improve upon the chances others in the squad currently fail to capitalize upon, he will also be counted on to minimize the loss of Baines.

Getting the right player in now is more crucial than ever.
