Hopefully we have waited till late in the window so as to sign Yarmolenko for a fee which enables us to stretch the budget for other necessities. That is my hope anyway.
 
Think Oviedo might be on way out and Song is brought in on the money we get. Barry to act as a back up left sided defender of Galloway gets injured .. We go with s 3 at the back with Song and McCarthy in the middle of the park Far fetched I know !!

He's been very good so far. Has at least 1 season left. Song wouldn't get into our team at the moment so why on earth would he come? He will want to be first choice.

I think it's obvious he needs replacing unless we play that same formation as yesterday a lot. He didn't get exposed because he was allowed to sit central and deep. When playing alongside someone he gets caught out constantly and doesn't have the time to move the ball effectively. Although all this animosity could come from him being the biggest perpetrator of my biggest pet peeve which is playing the ball to a player's back foot when they have/need to take space forward.

Why is Besic not a viable replacement for the longer term, though?
 
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've plenty of mates back in Kyiv and none of them have heard or read anything about these rumours. I know a few Dynamo ST holders who are glued to the usual social media channels and so they tend to pick up on things early, but they've not spotted anything. Furthermore, a fair few of them are Blues (courtesy of yours truly) and would want him to come to us perhaps more than anywhere else, so,it's not as if they're against the idea.

If they tip me the wink I'll pass it on in here immediately.

Why on earth would we let beloved Bryan go in the first place, never mind with him being the only fit natural LB at the club currently?!

Theirs numerous accounts of him mate throughout his time at Kiev that just puts him in a very very good light in terms of the type of character he is, proper professional and someone i think who would absolutely love it here

Just don't think Barry needs to go. He needs to go when he's past it, but he's been very good so far this season and for the last 10 or so games of last season.

He had a woeful period of form but that ended long ago. I think the problem is that once the perception of a player changes, people become too lazy to re-evaluate it.
