The fact that the information first came via "Chinese whispers" at the game on Saturday, and then was followed up by the media obviously means there's something in it. Some say it's quite far along, some don't. We'll have to wait and see.

When there's bad news involved, Evertonians will believe anything. If it's even remotely positive though it needs to be plastered all over Sky Sports News and/or an official announcement from the club for people to believe it.
