People have been 'fuming' (as the lids would say) about our lack of transfer activity and our need for a centre-half for weeks and months.

Now, with the talk of a potential signings, people are already questioning his ability without really knowing much information. It's farcical.

Overall Martinez's business in the transfer window haven't been too shabby; few questionable signings but overall his choices have been good.

If, and it's a big IF, this Mori lad does sign then he needs to be given a chance and then we can judge.

Of course we will support the lad and watch him for the next 12 months before judging but we just saying it a massive risk as he will be cover for jags and stones

Have to agree with this. He is at the right age and he will improve surely.

I'd rather see us pay a bit more and go for the Celtic centre back. I know it's only the Scottish Premiership but he looks head and shoulders above most other players in that league and at least we know he can adapt to living and playing in the UK

How do you know Evans price?

And he'll most likely be on aleast double what Mori is so mich more expensive
Not sure that's a good enough reason to sign this lad. Nobody knows much about him on here, but anyone who seems to know a little or maybe more than a little about including the respected Tim Vickery don't think this guy is good enough. I know some will automatically think they are wrong/clueless but never have a seen a signing of a player where you hardly see a positive review.

so wait, the lad gets in to the team of the season, or competition or whatever, loads of the river plate fans love him and think he's great...

but we should be worried because some weirdo english fella who sometimes gets things right, and also gets things wrong, instead of listening to the people who watch him every week, ok.
