I dont get the Lennon shouts. Surely if we wanted him we would have done it early, considering he was here last season and was always on the out at Spurs. It would frustrate me a little if we have wanted a couple of months just to get a few mil off his eventual transfer fee.

I once hitched a lift from Peurto Banus to La Caruella after a specially lively Saturday night out. The lift was in a wagon delivering fish to the hotels along the coast, and the driver was Argentinian( it was a couple of months after the sinking of the Belgrano). We talked football all the way, and I got the impression that Argie football was more like kick boxing than football.
