And then we finished above them.

We need to take a chance and show our intent , if worst comes to worst we have a lot of talent that could be sold for ££ to cancel out the gamble if backfires. I'm not even arsed about a defender , just want a good left sided winger / playmaker and I think we're sorted.

No. I meant teams who really want the player to go into their first team. If Arsenal wanted him as much as Everton then there is absolutely no doubt he would be with them.

Where are the firm bids? Mirallas chose to be a first teamer and not a bench warmer, I hardly count that as us beating Arsenal for him. If it was a player they really wanted to going into their first team then we would have lost.

And how do you know we've made any firm bids to the players we've supposedly been beaten to?

Also, if a club wants to get into bidding wars and pay well over the odds for a player, let them.

We have 2 decent signings so far. We need to sign quality not quantity (take note tranny shgger). I expect us to have upto 20 mill to spend and it would not suprise me if we leave it late. We have to make sure we have a decent injury free pre season.

To be fair, the transfer window has already been v.good for Everton. Cleverley was a good buy for the money. Deulofeu was a steal. He's had one dodgy season after playing very sporadically for a manager that had little faith in him. I think we got a 15m player easy here.

So no need for fans to get all p!$$ed off about transfer activities. Unless we swap mirallas for lennon or something daft.
