I thought it was 23m, I was wrong.

"On June 22, Dimitri's agent requested a new meeting with club president Vincent Labrune and, at that meeting, he announced that he and his player had opened negotiations with West Ham, saying that the English club offered a contract of six years accompanied by £21.4m in wages over that period.

Fair enough. 6 years. Yea we probably where right to swerve.

That was abit of a serious answer for you pal. I retract my interest. Or maybe another forum member has come in ahead of me and iv lost out. I should realy be sealing the deal.........thats if i was ever actualy interesred

where's the romantic meal money bill?

Crystal palace, Newcastle and West Ham all spending £10mil+ on players, and several players really shows how skint we are and what an awful board we have not willing to pump money into the club! I know we spent £28 mil on lukaku last season, but still! Need to get a quality no.10

Three types of plums in this thread:

  1. Those fuming at our transfer policy despite signing two first team players already, retaining a talented young who looked likely to move on and it being a full month before the season starts and nearly eight weeks of transfer window left.
  2. Anyone using the term number 10 instead of attacking midfielder. Only titheads refer to a position by its number. Was Bracewell attacking midfield? Pipe down and stop sounding like Brendan Rodgers.
  3. Those moaning about the beauts.

We're #3 aren't we?

That's the problem mate, when he's fit. He's been here 4 years and has played the grand total of 44 premier league games for us, scoring 2 league goals.
I know but he was very good in his first two seasons. He joined in January and played 15 games that season and 26 the season after.

Then he had the worst injury you can get an ACL tear and was out for a year. Last season after he came back he had a few minor injuries but still played 14 times in a team he was only a backup.

There's no reason why next season he can't stay fit enough to fulfill the backup role. On his day he's a real asset to have. Last season many where saying he should be starting being the only midfielder capable of playing a through ball. Was it really that unwise a choice to give him another 2 year deal?
