I genuinely have not recovered from watching The Never Ending Story and witnessing the death of Artex, his mighty stead.

Made even worse by the internet rumours about the horse actually dying during filming. Which I'm sure were bollocks but still played on my mind.

Also Betty Blue shaped my life when I was 18. As a teenage francophile there was nothing better than seeing a naked french woman going mental and gouging her eyes out.

just can't watch it again.

How Green Was My Valley -
my dad was a miner and we watched it one evening just before he went on a night shift, I was about 7 and screamed and cried all night until he came home next morning, I thought he would get crushed and die like the men in the film.
Can't watch that film either.

Bambi, Lion King, Watership Down, yes they should all be x rated and not for children.:(
