Trophies or Stablity?

As our beloved neighbours across the park, like to point out, it's been 30 years since our last trophy. However outside of big 5, and Newcastle last week, the other sides who have won things since we last won a trophy are in a worst position than us or same position. Portsmouth won FA cup, got relegated 2 years later, Wigan won FA cup, got relegated same season, Leicester won Premier League and FA cup, but look like they're going down. Spurs won league cup in 2008, yet they're a mess on and off the pitch, West Ham won a European trophy, yet they're in no better position than us. So should Everton focus on getting back to what we were like in Moyes 1st tenure a club who consistently finishes in top half, sometimes get into Europe, or should our main focus be winning a trophy, when get to Bramley Moore.

Our realistic aim should be to get back to where Moyes had us 4th - 6th but also winning a trophy along with it. Basically what Newcastle have done in the last few years.

The League Title may be beyond us in the current era barring something exceptional happening but I see no reason why we can't emulate what Newcastle have achieved if we get things right on and off the pitch.

Stability that leads to a trophy at best. We should be challenging for Europe every season in a few years. But need patience for that.
we even need to progress to the higher European competitions, so these could go hand in hand, id love us to get in the conference league win that with some obscure European away days on route. Moyes treated that competition with respect leading his West Ham team to glory.
