Not a fan of older comedy, unless Fawlty Towers and Blackadder count.

I’m a great fan of Leonard Rossiter so Rising Damp and Reginald Perrin get my vote.
Read somewhere that he was an Everton Fan Certainly born in Liverpool.

Has to be Seinfeld for me, I can't believe that E4 shows at least an episode of Friends every day when it's the cretinous, humourless sibling of Seindfeld. Why oh why isn't it on more in this country?

The best Dutch comedy ever has to be 'In de Vlaamsche Pot'.

Also has been an American comedy, I've forgotten the name. Was based on somewhat the same principle as Married with children. Had a stuffed bunny in it, Mr. Floppy was it called, I believe

Any one remember the blonde headed girl & young associate who always giggled behind the desk at the travel lodge Partridge stayed in. They had great chemistry together especially trying to keep a straight face with Alan.

Yes mate, Rossiter was Liverpool born and brought up in Wavertree. Great performer and has you said, an Evertonian which makes him that bit more special.
