A very good series with a rubbish name :

Black Spot ( Netflix/French with subs )

Really leftfield, quirky, yet dark as anything.

Set in a remote rural town up in the hills, the local police investigate a series of bizarre and seemingly ritualistic murders. All the while something nasty is lurking in the woods.

Slow but very well put together and holds the attention.

Two series and 100% lined up for a third.

Exactly as I said,has its slow moments but a really decent watch,I watched the 1st episode of 'The woods" I dont want to say dont watch it because it looked like it might be ok,but the terrible dubbing put me off completely

Hannibal S1 is a masterpiece, S2 is great but not as good, S3 I couldn't really get into it.

Yep, I hate dubbing. It's rarely done well, and it puts me off most foreign language shows / films pretty much faster than anything else.

I'd much rather watch in the original language, with English subtitles.

It adds to the realism and is more authentic. Plus, it's educational and helps one to learn a foreign language.

Yeah no fan of dubbing,subtitles all the way for me,I always end up watching the mouths for 10 minutes then turn it off,really should give options for preference,I know some people dont like subs

Yeah was looking at the dark trailer. I like westerns as well. Recently watched all of deadwood

deadwood is right up there for me, top 3 easy. godless is great aswell
