The first one was excellent. Still not a patch on the original 'Blue Murder' series from the 90's.

Surely though, 13 seasons of spinoffs have drained it of any real quality. I did a whole bunch of scouting for Season 2 & 3 which was fun.

as you say first underbelly was great telly and very underrated outside Australia, the spinoffs going gradually downhill. Blue murder and the subsequent follow up were superb , in both underbelly and blue murder the subject matter being almost unbelievable and totally gripping No doubt added to the enjoyment.

They often reduce the budget each season to squeeze more profits out.

I worked on the 2nd Blue Murder - was loads of fun. I had to come in coz the producer had fired old mate before me.

Translucent wasn’t in the comics though.

I ended up reading the comic after watching the show and it starts pretty good but then can’t wait to finish.

Oh I know there are other changes to the comics but this one is just annoying. Not as annoying as giving Butcher a beard.

Comics are far better than the series.

Haha yeah and that accent. I just remember the comic going on for probably 20 issues too many. Some full on storylines in it tho.
 
Loved Godless, great limited series, 3 episodes in with Snowpiercer now, not too sure what to make of it to be honest, I keep losing the plot with it and asking questions of the writers, hopefully it'll all become clear as the show goes on.

Yeah I was fairly lucky as I started season 1 three weeks ago. I’ve got 3 left to watch. I think they’re tying it all together nicely tbh. Things have gone totally mental like.
