TV Series

Finished watching Line Of Duty through again. The best show i've seen on British TV, anywhere, and that's above. When the BBC get their drama right, they don't half get it right. Amazing to think Line of Duty was originally a summer filler show for BBC2.
I'm watching it for the first time (I did watch 5 when it was on TV). Really like it on the whole but thought series 4 was pretty poor. Story wasn't that interesting, pretty clear what was going on. And they changed some of the main characters' personalities with no real explanation other than to explain the plot. Making Hastings a misogynist being the most egregious example given it was purely for one scene.

The absolute worst show ever with acting so bad you'd think it was Sloth from Goonies hour at the bingo hall and a lead actor so short he has an assistant follow him round with a phone books to stand on.

If Home and Away and The Bill had a baby and that baby grew up, got run over and mashed up by Harold Bishop, kidnapped and held at gunpoint by Screech from Saved by the Bell and then beaten into a bloody, unrecognisable pulp by Scott Baio you'd end up with Line of Duty.

Obviously it doesn’t compare with Australian tv crime dramas :coffee:
