TV Series

Have you read any of the books ?

Just as good and they have you crying with laughter, plus lots of name checks for places in Liverpool.

no I’ve never got round to it, may look on Amazon. Just watched lister playing pool with the planets and name dropping one of my old haunts, the aigy arms”

totally forgot about talkie toaster haha this scene had me crying

Talkie Toaster: "How to break the speed of light? How to marry quantum mechanics and classical physics? Any question at all, truly anything and you will answer?"
Holly: "Yes."
Talkie Toaster: "OK, here's my question: Would you like some toast?"

The best book to get is the Red Dwarf Omnibus - 3 books combined.

One of my all time most read books.

It`s like watching the shows, you know the gags off by heart, but you still laugh you`re head off every time.

Ace Rimmer and Low Rimmer ( the evil version ) are still two of my all time comedy characters.

Love life on bbc iPlayer was very enjoyable but that’s probably because of my insatiable lust for Anna Kendrick.

Well written though and a lot of subverted tropes.

Alienist 2 ( Netflix )

Just as good as the first and much more involvement from all of the excellent cast in this one.

Wonderful portrayal of Victorian New York, the wealth, the poverty, the racism and all of the inequalities.

If you like Sherlock Holmes and Ripper Street, this is for you.
Series one on 3 episodes too many, but a good watch - series 2 binned it after 4 episodes far too slow imo... it has less episodes plus I think we guessed the outcome of the story - watching series 5 of The Bureau instead far better imo .......

You binned series 2 at exactly the wrong point Joey, as it really kicks off from then onwards.

Go back to it, I can guarantee you’ll enjoy the rest of it ;)
