Started watch The Investigation on BBC iplayer true story of a journalist who was murder on a submarine built by the accused, think it’s excellent, Danish with subtitle. Have watched a couple of foreign programs lately and was not overly impressed with the acting, but the acting in this is v.good.

Chicago Med - pretty good, but I think Fire is the must-watch show of the Chicago One franchise 7/10
New Amsterdam - A bit formulaic but the characters are likeable enough. 6/10
Code Black - Superior show that strips back on most of the fluff found in other series and leaves the good stuff. 9/10

Watched this seven parter on the strength of its reviews - Invisible City.
Set in Brazil, an environmental police officer investigates the suspicious death of his wife, who is an environmentalist, in an area of forest that a construction company want for the land.
He that all is not as it seems and creatures of legend are part and parcel of the forest and its life.
A worthy attempt at bringing environmental in Brazil to the attention of the world, but despite its good reviews, it doesn’t really hold your attention and is a bit dull.

best comedy ever imo, but im a narcissistic maniac so it really speaks to me. As far as bingeing goes its not got a continual narrative so you're not compelled to watch for story reasons i.e the office but it's awesome none the less.

I haven't seen the tv show, but I can fully recommend a trip to Iceland. It's a stunningly beautiful place.
It was obviously deep mid Winter when they filmed it.
Everywhere was iced up and virtually no daylight.
There are times in our lives,that we all wished 'All Mums go to Iceland' and 'never came back' was the full slogan

Not sure what "generic marvel show" would be given the diversity of styles that have been involved in the MCU, but you're right about the mad part. It's been pretty much brilliant from start to finish imho.
When we went in mid January there was only about 5 hours of daylight. The Northern Lights made the trip for me though.
Yeah, one of my mates went a while back and said it was one of the most beautiful, but expensive places he`d ever been to !
