It`s a brilliantly written sitcom, set in a tiny corner boozer in Manchester and simply focuses on the customers, the licensee, his family and two coppers who pop in around the back for a pint every night.
It`s written by Craig Cash ( David from the Royal Family ) and Phil Mealy, who both play customers.
It`s every bit as funny as the Royal Family and the writing is just as good too.
It`s hilarious, tender and bitter sweet all at the same time.
The then unknown, James Mcavoy got his big break on it, playing the licensee`s daughters, boyfriend.
It`s up there with the best British sitcoms of all time.
