TV Series

Yeah, i've read that the subs are awful for it
It’s not great, I’ve only watched the first 2 episodes and the bit that stands out for me is a scene with a guy is telling his Mrs to get out of town with their kid. He just keeps referring to the kid as “our child” like “I love you and our child” like it’s some generic kid and not little Frank he’s loved from the moment he laid eyes on him.

ok so far, has that really good dark Korean sense of humour

That's weird. Apparently netflix subtitles are bad across the board as they pay their linguists in a way where they get paid more to translate as fast as they can.

I'm still yet to start it but probably will soon. I've enjoyed Korean films much more than TV series tho.

Revisited "Futurama" for the first time in a few years.

What a brilliantly inventive, clever and funny show. Oddball characters and brilliant references to pop culture. (Dr. Zoidberg is my favourite)

I'M HIT!!!

SO COLD....

ERRRW-WEEEEREWWW-WEEEREEW-WEEEREEEW!!!!!!

(The dogshat Adam Sandler film "Pixels" basically stole the idea for this episode.)

To be honest it’s not really a fault of the voice actor but more the script they’re working from. It could be that whatever Korean term is used just doesn’t translate into English well. It just sounds very impersonal when you’re trying to build character depth.

I agree, Train to Busan and R-Point are particular favourites of mine. They make excellent horror films which I’m not usually a fan of

To Catch a Predator on BBC 2 last night was a tough watch, but outstanding.

The police investigation into the worlds worst serial rapist, Reynhard Sinaga, who drugged and raped men in Manchester for over a decade.

I think my only criticism of it is that it could have been a 3 episode thing (and i'm normally critical of true crime shows dragging). i bet there was so much more detail.

Zoidberg is easily the best character in the show though I do have a particular soft spot for Captain Zap Brannigan and Kips dynamic

I thought exactly the same.

It didn’t justice to the investigation at all.

Despite it being condensed, it still packed a mighty punch.

Very moving too.
