Nah, you're not. it got big because its Dan from Gossip Girl, just watched it with my gf to pass a bit of time. she even said she wouldn't have bothered if the main guy wasn't who he was. The most recent season is by far the best though, there is actually a story and i'm enjoying it for what it is.

it's trashy crap but i don't think it's meant to be more than that

Yeah got a bit sick of the NY faux intellectualism thing. Also the narration reminded me of that very annoying American Life podcast. Will put in bin I think

A 10-part TV drama following the high life and wild times of the troubled little Argentine genius. It's actually surprisingly good and the actors playing Diego are all remarkable lookalikes. A real rise and fall story - Maradona remains idolised in his homeland as a slum kid made good, and the series definitely captures that. The footy scenes are smart as well and the production clearly had a lot of money and talent behind it. Just avoid the English dubbing and go for the original Spanish language with subtitles..... it's on Amazon Prime

Watched the first couple of episodes and I agree it is very good. It's just a bit too intense for me at the moment though. Will definitely get back to it.

Been watching Sex Education. Bit late to the party but I've never fancied it. I'm actually really enjoying it and it's an easy watch. Kind of Skins meets The Wonder Years meets the Wye Valley. One of my favourite places in the UK outside of Cornwall. Been there dozens of times.
