14 Peaks : Nothing is Impossible.

What can I say, but just incredible.

You don`t even have to be into mountaineering to enjoy this, it`s just an outstanding piece of television.

Going up 8000 metre plus mountains with a hangover, rescuing people on the way down and having a massive party at the base of K2, to motivate all of the other climbing parties to have a go again, having failed before he got there lol

What a guy !

He’s ace. What an inspirational character and yet he’s so grounded and humble.

Glad you enjoyed it

What's this on mate?

Him and missus were both so likeable.

I loved the fact, that he always went to great lengths, to constantly emphasise, how it was all about the team, not him.

I could’ve happily watched hours and hours of it.

A proper character.
Here’s a clip of Nims and team summitting K2 in Winter (Jan this year).

They all stopped 10m from the summit then all held hands and walked to the summit singing the Nepali anthem.

Remarkable given the fact they said K2 could never be climbed during the winter. It was always the ultimate challenge.

Love it

I know it was edited, but they made going up the Bottleneck on K2, look like they were going up Moel Famau on a Sunday afternoon !!

He was spot on at the end, when he said, that if it`d been done by Western climbers, there`d be much more recognition of what they`d done.

Watched this yesterday as well. His book, Beyond Possible is on my list. Hard to understand just how big an achievement that was. Incredible.

Looking forward to the second season of The Witcher. The missus hasn't seen it... asks me last night 'would you mind watching season one again with me so I'm caught up?' and I happily agree.

15-20 minutes into the first episode she starts snoring lol

Didn`t realise that it was a book, on my list ;)

I completely agree, he didn`t just break records, he smashed them into tiny bits.

K2 in the Winter by itself is an incredible achievement, but when you couple that with the 13 other peaks he did, it`s just superhuman.
